International Meeting Supports Korea's Reunification

Pyongyang, July 2 (KCNA) -- A resolution on solidarity with the DPRK was adopted at the third meeting of the International Union of Agricultural and Foodstuff Workers. It was held in France from June 21 to 24.

The resolution denounced the U.S. hostile policy toward the DPRK and joint military exercises staged by the U.S. and south Korea against the DPRK. It strongly called for the U.S. forces' withdrawal from south Korea.

It urged the present south Korean authorities to respect the historic June 15 North-South Joint Declaration and the October 4 declaration and expressed full support for the Korean people in their efforts for peace and reunification of the Korean Peninsula.
