Downpours left the dike of the Missouri River destroyed to inundate a nuclear power plant near the river, filling water within its building which houses turbines.

Another nuclear power plant about 130 km south of it along the river is posed to threat by flood.

Meanwhile, wildfire in New Mexico State reportedly poses threat to the closed Los Alamos nuclear laboratory, giving out smoke over its vicinity.
