Kim in the message said he was pleased with the great successes made by the friendly Venezuelan people in firmly defending their independence and sovereignty and building a just society for the working masses under his leadership.

He, at the same time, extended full support and solidarity to the initiatives and efforts of the Venezuelan government for regional integration and independent development.

He heartily hoped that the President would enjoy good health and register greater success in his work for the country's prosperity and the people's well-being, expressing belief that the friendly and cooperative relations between the two peoples would continue to favorably develop in the future, too, on the road of independence against imperialism and for socialism.
