U.S. Congress recently deliberated on a resolution on imposing sanctions on several personages of Russia, including members of its armed forces organ, over the case of a lawyer who died during preliminary examination in Russia.

Lavrov rejected this behavior as interference in his country's internal affairs.

Such behavior of some U.S. congressmen can never be pardoned as it is an act of totally ignoring the investigation into the case to which the Russian authorities are paying attention, he said.
