Pyongyang, July 5 (KCNA) -- I wish the Korean people greater success in their drive to build a thriving nation, said Viktor Yeliseev, chief of the Academy Ensemble of the Interior Unit of the Russian Ministry of Interior, when interviewed by KCNA Monday before his departure from the DPRK. I visited the DPRK with boundless reverence for General Secretary Kim Jong Il and feelings of friendship towards the Korean people, he said, and went on: The Korean people have won only victories thanks to the outstanding leaders. President Kim Il Sung made an immortal contribution to the development of the Russia-DPRK friendship. He was the great leader of the people who devoted his all to the prosperity of the country and its people's happiness. His cause has been successfully carried forward by Kim Jong Il. He has devotedly worked for the prosperity of the country. He is boundlessly revered by the Korean people. The world is admired by their profound respect, veneration and absolute trust in him. Kim Jong Il watched our performance several times. He has profound knowledge about arts. I was struck with admiration at his inborn disposition. He is, indeed, a great master of arts. Arts are developing in the DPRK day by day thanks to his leadership. Great changes are taking place in the DPRK under his wise leadership. During our stay we witnessed its development. We felt joyful here in the DPRK which we love so much. |
