At the rally speakers said that impropriety of this policy fostering privilege and discrimination is fully revealed with each passing day.

The people's desire for new education is growing stronger across south Korea, they said, adding that teachers in different parts of it have been conducting signature campaign in protest against the present education policy.

The progressive educationists and people will vigorously struggle in unity to get this policy repealed, they declared.

At the end of the rally its participants staged a demonstration.
