They included a seminar on General Secretary Kim Jong Il's work "Let Us Carry Out the Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung's Instructions for National Reunification" in South Africa, a remembrance meeting in Ukraine and round-table talks in Austria between Jul. 2 and 3.

The chairman of the Group for the Study of the Progressive Ideas of South Africa referred to the immortal exploits of the President for the prosperity and reunification of the country.

The vice-chairman of the Ukrainian "Treasured Sword of Songun" Association for the Study of the Juche Idea said the President conducted his work energetically for global independence.

At the round-table talks in Austria the speakers praised Kim Il Sung for turning the DPRK into a socialist power, independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defence. They also spoke highly of Kim Jong Il who victoriously led the work of the Korean people to safeguard socialism and build a great prosperous and powerful nation with his original Songun revolutionary leadership.

Messages to Kim Jong Il were adopted at the events in Ukraine and Austria.
