US Held Wholly Responsible for Environmental Pollution

Pyongyang, July 8 (KCNA) -- The Pusan Solidarity for Democracy, People's Life, Peaceful Reunification and Sovereignty of south Korea on July 4 conducted an opinion poll among Pusan citizens as regards the defoliant burial by the U.S. forces present in south Korea. Over 90 percent of the respondents held that the U.S. is wholly to blame for it.

They demanded the U.S. government single-handedly compensate to the inhabitants and areas for the damage done by the U.S. forces and pay the expenses required for de-polluting the areas.

The U.S. should make clear the data on the defoliant burial by the U.S. forces in south Korea, they stressed.
