Pyongyang, July 9 (KCNA) -- The British and Ecuadorian organizations made public statements in support of the statement of a spokesman for the government of the DPRK and the statement of a spokesman for the Supreme Command of the Korean People's Army. The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and the British Branch of the Korean Friendship Association in their joint statement on July 1 hailed the stand of the DPRK government and the Supreme Command of the KPA as the most fair and aboveboard one to frustrate the evermore undisguised anti-DPRK moves of the south Korean puppet forces. Noting that it is the wild dream of the south Korean puppet forces to bring down Korean-style socialism, the statement demanded the Lee Myung Bak puppet group stop such foolish acts as heaping slanders and calumnies on the DPRK and threatening world peace. The statement said the organizations support the DPRK's stand to firmly defend socialist Korea and take a merciless retaliation against the south Korean puppet forces. The statement called on the British progressive forces to extend unequivocal support and solidarity to the Korean people in their struggle to safeguard socialist Korea and smash the provocations of the south Korean puppet forces. The Ecuador-Guaranda Institute for Friendship and Cultural Solidarity with the Korean People in a statement on July 29 termed all provocations of traitor Lee Myung Bak and the puppet military group a clear declaration of a war against the DPRK and bitterly denounced them. |
