DPRK Embassies Visited by Foreign Personalities

| Pyongyang, July 9 (KCNA) -- The chairwoman and vice-chairman of the Party for Peace and Unity of Russia, the general director for the international relations Department of the Iranian "Workers' House", the chairperson of the Tehran City Committee, the chairman and vice-chairmen of the International Taekwon-Do Association of Iran and the chairman of the Nigerian Group for the Study of the Juche Philosophy visited the DPRK embassies in their countries from June 27 to July 6 on the occasion of the 17th anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung. They laid floral baskets and bouquets before the portraits of President Kim Il Sung and paid tribute to him. They lauded Kim Il Sung as a great statesman, iron-willed commander and popular leader of the 20th century recognized by the whole world, adding though he passed away, he is always alive in the hearts of progressive mankind for his great exploits. They expressed belief that the Korean people would build a great prosperous and powerful nation and accomplish the cause of national reunification without fail under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il, creditable successor to the revolutionary cause of the President. |
