The Iranian paper Iran News on July 3 devoted one whole page to articles illustrated with a portrait of the smiling President and a photo showing the Korean people's boundless longing and reverence for him.

The paper in an article titled "Great man of century" said mankind always remembers the President as the great man of the century. He will be always alive with mankind as the sun is eternal, it added.

The Bangladeshi paper Blits on July 2 carried an article headlined "Songun idea, the guiding principle of the Workers' Party of Korea" with his portrait.

The Lao paper Vatelao on July 4 edited an article titled "Tribute to respected President Kim Il Sung of the DPRK" with his photo.

The article said that the cause of perpetuating the memory of the President has been successfully accomplished in the DPRK under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il.
