DPRK Delegations Leave to Visit Various Countries

| Pyongyang, July 9 (KCNA) -- A delegation of the DPRK-China Friendship Association led by Choe Chang Sik, minister of Public Health and chairman of the Central Committee of the Association, left here for China Saturday to attend the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the DPRK-China treaty of friendship, cooperation and mutual assistance. Also leaving were a DPRK government economic delegation led by Ri Ryong Nam, minister of Foreign Trade, to take part in the 7th meeting of the DPRK-Syria Joint Economic Committee to be held in Damascus and a delegation of the DPRK Olympic Committee led by its Vice-Chairman Son Kwang Ho, vice-minister of Physical Culture and Sports, to participate in the 30th meeting of the Asian Olympic Council to be held in Tokyo. |
