S. Korean Minister of Unification Urged to Step Down

| Pyongyang, July 10 (KCNA) -- A civic organization related to the north-south economic cooperation in south Korea demanded Hyon In Thaek, minister of Unification, step down for standing in the way of inter-Korean cooperation and exchange on July 7. The organization said that south Korean businesses are on the verge of bankruptcy due to the unreasonable "May 24 measure" taken by the authorities. However, the ministry is disallowing even inter-Korean contact for tiding over crisis, far from compensating for the damages, it deplored, stressing: It would come out for the movement to force Hyon to step down. |
