The President is the great leader and the people's father as he dedicated all his life to the dignity of the nation and the people's happiness, the statement said, and went on:

He founded the Anti-Japanese People's Guerrilla Army early in the 1930s, led to victory the anti-Japanese armed struggle with his original strategies and tactics and thus defeated the Japanese imperialists in August 1945 to liberate the country. He also defeated the United States, superior in military technique, with his distinguished commanding art in the Korean War ignited by the U.S. imperialists in 1950 and defended the sovereignty and independence of the country.

Regarding it as his lifelong maxim to believe in the people as in Heaven, he defended their interests and put forward the popular masses as the master of society while sharing joy and sorrow with them. He also turned the DPRK into a powerful country, independent in politics, self-supporting in the economy and self-reliant in national defence.
