River Crossing Demonstration Tactical Exercise in Russia

Moscow, July 10 (KCNA) -- A tactical demonstration exercise for crossing the River Onon was conducted by the motorized infantry brigade of the 29th Combined Corps in the Tsugol firing range in the Eastern Military District of Russia recently.

New combat style and methods were applied on a demonstration basis under the simulated hard conditions of exercise while sub-units of the brigade carried out crossing operations with the help of floating apparatuses and underwater crossing in fixed time, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported.
