General Secretary Kim Jong Il visited the farm in February Juche 98 (2009) and met her who worked hard as head of a workteam for decades. He called her a revolutionary in the countryside, who was firmly defending the rural position, and showed solicitude for her.

Always remembering the glorious days when President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il visited the farm, she did well double and treble cropping as taught by Kim Jong Il, actively introduced advanced farming methods and technology and set an example in raising per-hectare yield in paddy and non-paddy fields despite the unfavorable weather conditions in the eastern coastal areas.

She, nearing 70, is working hard to do farming well this year with the enthusiasm to glorify the honor of being a revolutionary in the rural area till the last moments of her life.

Steadfast is the socialist rural position of the DPRK thanks to the patriots who are devoting all their sweats and enthusiasm to the land in order to increase grain production to realize Kim Jong Il's plan for building a thriving nation.
