Heavy Rains Hit S. Korea

| Pyongyang, July 12 (KCNA) -- Heavy rains hit the southern parts of the Korean Peninsula, causing many casualties in south Korea, the south Korean KBS reported on July 11. Landslides occurred and rivers overflowed in Sochon, South Chungchong Province, Posong and Ryosu, South Jolla Province, Wanju, North Jolla Province and other areas, leaving 13 persons dead and five missing. |
