The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy and the Juche Idea Study Society of Britain in their joint statement praised President Kim Il Sung as a genius of revolution who founded the immortal Juche idea and a distinguished great man in the era of independence against imperialism.

The statement recalled that Kim Il Sung led the Workers' Party of Korea and the DPRK to hold higher the red flag even when the imperialists and international reactionaries and modern revisionists brought socialism to collapse in some countries and increased the pressure on DPRK.

It stressed that he would be always alive in the minds of the Koreans and the world Juche idea followers.

The British Branch of the Korean Friendship Association in a statement referred to the fact that Kim Il Sung led two revolutionary wars to victory.

He was an outstanding thinker and theoretician and a great man of the century who conducted energetic activities for national reunification and the cause of global independence till the last moments of his life, it stressed.
