Kim Il Sung's Exploits Lauded by Foreign Personages

Pyongyang, July 14 (KCNA) -- Personages of various countries made public statements on the 17th anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung. Abdul Wahab Rashwani, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of Syria (Bagdash), in a statement on July 5 said the modern history of Korea would be unthinkable without President Kim Il Sung, adding that he was a benefactor of liberation as he freed the Korean people from the Japanese imperialists' colonial rule. The secretary for international relations of the Communist Party of the People of Spain in a statement on July 7 noted the Juche idea founded by the President serves as a treasured sword for carving out the destiny of the people as it helped the working masses emerge a master of the world. The secretary for international relations of the National Executive Committee of Socialist Party-Ample Front of Ecuador in a statement on July 5 praised Kim Il Sung for his immortal exploits performed in the human cause of independence. John Jamit, chairman, and Jean-Pierre, secretary general of the Malta-Korea Friendship Association, in their joint statement on July 8 lauded Kim Il Sung as a benevolent father of the people who built a peculiar socialist system centered on the popular masses in Korea. The chairman of the Finland-Mangyongdae Committee for Commemorating the Centenary of Birth of President Kim Il Sung said in a statement on July 6 noted that the victory in the socialist revolution was one of the great exploits performed by him. |
