In the whole course of leading the movement for national reunification Kim Jong Il has adhered to the three principles of national reunification as a weapon for winning sure victory and wisely led the struggle to make sure that the issue of the inter-Korean relations and that of national reunification are settled strictly on these principles.

The three principles of national reunification are the fundamental principles which allow no compromise under any circumstances.

No one can replace the Koreans in the struggle for national reunification.

All Koreans who love the country and the nation and aspire after reunification and prosperity should turn out in a nationwide struggle against the anti-reunification forces, united close around the banner of the June 15 joint declaration irrespective of ideology, political view and ism.
