It was one day in November 1997 when Kim Jong Il visited the site and showed a warm loving care for Ri Yong Ae who was a lecturer at that time. It was a leg of his field guidance to follow in the footsteps of President Kim Il Sung who visited there.

He learned about her family and made sure that she was known all over the country. To repay the loving care shown by the general she pledged to dedicate herself to the work for making undying feats of the peerlessly great men shine forever.

Always remembering the glorious days when she had the honor of being received by the President and General Secretary Kim Jong Il and getting from them appreciations she hardly deserved, she has worked hard at her remote post rain or shine, always picturing the general to herself. She devoted her wisdom and energies to educating people through revolutionary relics.

Thanks to the general's deep political trust she is now working as an official of the North Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea after graduating from a party cadre training institution.
