The head of the art group presented to Kim Jong Il a gift prepared with sincerity on behalf of the art group.

The dance drama is based on a mural painting in Gansu Province in the northwestern part of China. Dealing with the story about the life of the Chinese people and peoples of foreign countries on silk road during the Tang Dynasty of China the dance drama reflects the aspiration and wishes of the people who value good faith and sense of obligation, opposed to the corrupt feudal ruling quarters in those days and all social evils caused by them.

The performance was acclaimed by the audience for high artistic skill of the performers as it presented dynamic plastic dances to the tune of cheerful melodies.

After the performance was over, Kim Jong Il met the leading members of the art group and congratulated them on their successful performance.

Among the audience were Kim Jong Un, vice-chairman of the Central Military Commission of the WPK, Kim Yong Chun, member of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee and minister of the People's Armed Forces, Kim Ki Nam and Choe Thae Bok, members of the Political Bureau and secretaries of the WPK Central Committee, Kang Sok Ju, member of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee and vice-premier of the Cabinet, Jang Song Thaek, alternate member of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee and vice-chairman of the NDC, Kim Yang Gon, Choe Ryong Hae and Thae Jong Su, alternate members of the Political Bureau and secretaries of the WPK Central Committee, Kim Jong Gak, alternate member of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee and first vice department director of the General Political Bureau of the Korean People's Army, Mun Kyong Dok, alternate member of the Political Bureau and secretary of the WPK Central Committee and chief secretary of the Pyongyang City Committee of the WPK, Ri Myong Su, minister of People's Security, Kim Kye Gwan, first vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, Hyon Chol Hae, department director of the NDC, and officials of party and armed forces organs, culture and arts and media.

Also among the audience were head of the art group Zhang Ming, vice-director of the Cultural Department of Gansu Province, Liu Hongcai, Chinese ambassador to the DPRK, and his embassy officials and Chinese guests staying in the DPRK.
