The U.S. said recently that realizing the "strategic flexibility" of the U.S. forces in south Korea is to expand its influence as far as Northeast Asia, the organizations said.

This is an act of going against the need of the times when peace should be established in the Korean Peninsula and the rest of Northeast Asia, they noted.

They denounced the authorities for hatching plots to arrest the protest actions of people from all walks of life in a bid to push forward the construction of the Jeju naval base to be used by the U.S. forces and shutting their eyes to the U.S. forces' burial of defoliant.

They accused the authorities of blocking inter-Korean cooperation and exchange and going against the nation's desire for peace and reunification, without apologizing for the incident in which the warmongers set up and fired at targets to hurt the dignity of the leadership of the DPRK and the scattering of anti-DPRK leaflets.

In order to achieve peace and reunification of the Korean Peninsula, the south Korean and U.S. authorities should withdraw the U.S. forces form south Korea and force the maniacs for confrontation with the DPRK to step down, they stressed.
