Riyad Chaloub, chairman of the Guinean National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee at the inaugural meeting.

The preparatory committee discussed an action plan for significantly organizing the Kimilsungia show of the West African region and an issue of briskly cultivating the flower of the sun according to the regional features.
