Death Anniversary of Kim Il Sung Commemorated by Foreign Papers

Pyongyang, July 20 (KCNA) -- Newspapers of various countries carried special write-ups between July 2 and 10 to commemorate the 17th anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung. Democratic Congo's paper La Prosperite devoted its one whole page to an article titled "Kim Il Sung, founder of Socialist Korea" illustrated with his portrait. The article said: It was thanks to the President that the Korean people could have their genuine country and bring about epoch-making changes. Finding himself among the people all his life, he devoted his all to their happiness. He worked heart and soul for the independent and peaceful reunification of the country and global independence. He founded the great Juche idea, greatly contributing to the development of human thoughts and theories and performed feats to be specially recorded in the political history in the 20th century with his energetic leadership. Another paper of this country L'Avenir carried an article with his photo, which stressed that he made great contributions to the socialist cause, the human cause of independence, holding high the banner of Juche. Lao papers Congtap Pasason Lao and Vientiane Mai, Nepali papers Naya Kotparwa and Charcha, Pakistani paper Baluchistan Times, Indonesian paper Suara Karya and Ethiopian paper Daily Monitor carried articles with photos showing his revolutionary activities. The articles introduced the revolutionary history and undying feats of the President, saying that the Korean army and people are faithfully putting his idea and intention into practice, always holding him in high esteem. |
