S. Korean Authorities Hit for Shunning Settlement of Registration Fee Issue

Pyongyang, July 20 (KCNA) -- South Korean organizations including the Federation of University Students in the 21st Century and the Registration Fee Network held a candlelight rally in Seoul on July 15 denouncing the authorities for shunning the settlement of the registration fee issue.

Speakers at the rally charged that the Lee Myung Bak regime has not included even a petty amount of fund for the settlement of registration fee issue in the draft budget for next year despite the demand of the people.

Students and people from all walks of life will hold higher the candlelight, they declared.

They urged an extraordinary "National Assembly" session for the settlement of the registration fee issue.

Condemning the Lee regime for deteriorating the people's livelihood, the participants in the rally called for halving the registration fee without any condition.
