ASEAN Countries Cooperate in Disaster Relief

| Pyongyang, July 20 (KCNA) -- ASEAN countries are striving to strengthen cooperation in disaster relief. The first ASEAN humanitarian and disaster relief exercise in West Java of Indonesia ended on Thursday. The three-day exercise was participated in by more than 100 military personnel and medical experts from Singapore, Indonesia and other ASEAN countries. The drill strengthened the ties among ASEAN militaries and enhanced ASEAN's capacity for disaster relief operations. |
