Addressing the 16th meeting of military academies Guo, who is also a member of the Political Bureau of the C.C., the Communist Party of China, said that President Hu Jintao has attached top priority to military schools and advanced a series of important theories on their position, role and mission.

He underlined the need to carry on the training of able servicepersons in such a way as putting the Chinese army on IT basis and meeting the requirement of future operations.
