Child Abuse Rampant in Japan

| Pyongyang, July 23 (KCNA) -- Children abuse is rife in Japan, arousing deep concern in society. Child abuse cases handled by consultation offices in Japan hit a record 55,152 in fiscal 2010 that ended in March this year, the Health, Labor and Welfare Ministry said in a preliminary report Wednesday. The figure rose 28.1 percent from the previous comparable record in fiscal 2009. |
