Financial Difficulties Get Serious at Businesses of Japan, France

Pyongyang, July 25 (KCNA) -- Japan's crude steel production in June declined 5.0 percent from a year earlier, the Japan Iron and Steel Federation quoted survey data on July 20. This was attributable to the serious economic depression.

Quarterly sales of Alstom, France's main company in transport infrastructure and power generation, dropped by 12 percent on dim performance of thermal power and transport activities over the April-June period.
