Recently China protested against the U.S. chief executive's meeting with the Dalai Lama. In this regard some media of the West let loose a string of speculations and outbursts only to reveal hostile mentality towards China, the daily said.

It is not the first time that Western media released such misinformation falsifying facts and making profound confusion of the right and wrong and applied a double-standard in interpreting China's opposition to separatist acts, it noted.

If one relies on the West, one is considered as a liberal force, a protector of human rights and the one to be supported by it, but if any party is opposed to it, the party is libeled a dictatorial rule, a wicked force and a terrorist organization and the target of its attack. This is an absurd logic of the Western countries and among them the U.S. does the worst thing, it added.

The Chinese can never accept such logic of the West, it stressed.
