Stop to S. Korean Military Authorities' Moves to Introduce Weapons for Aggression Demanded

Pyongyang, July 26 (KCNA) -- The south Korean People for Achieving Peace and Reunification staged a demonstration outside the Ministry of Defense on July 20 in demand of a stop to the moves to introduce weapons for the purpose of making preparations for a war against the north.

It denounced the military authorities for submitting to the authorities a 2012 draft military budget including expenses for the introduction of large offensive helicopters.

The projected introduction of the helicopters poses a grave threat to the peace on the Korean Peninsula as it is part of the moves to carry out the strategy for a preemptive attack on the north, it held.

It demanded the military authorities stop at once the moves to introduce helicopters with a huge amount of funds collected from the people as taxes.
