The commentary accused Lee Myung Bak of nominating Han Sang Dae, chief of the Seoul District Public Prosecutor's Office, as public prosecutor general despite the opposition of different circles.

Han was in direct charge of the investigation into the unprecedented suppression of teachers and government employees and persistently opposed the reinstatement of the unreasonably dismissed teachers, it said.

Han perpetrated whole gamut of irregularities and corruption typified by the two illegal acts of falsifying the place of residence to send his children to good schools, it held.

Such a guy should not be allowed to hold the post of the chief prosecutor, it said, demanding Lee Myung Bak retract the nomination of Han to the post.
