The work, published on August 4, 1997, deals with the undying feats of President Kim Il Sung for national reunification and formulates the three principles of national reunification, the 10-point programme for great national unity and the proposal for founding the Democratic Federal Republic of Koryo as the three charters for national reunification. It also clarifies the tasks and ways for achieving national reunification on the basis of them.
