Test Dive of Manned Submersible in China

| Beijing, July 29 (KCNA) -- China on July 26 tested the dive of Jiaolong, China's manned submersible. Jiaolong reached a depth of 5,038.5 meters, successfully carrying out its attempt to reach 5,000 meters. The submersible is expected to have a 7,000-meter test dive in 2012. |
