48 persons were killed, 15 others reported missing and many others wounded in Seoul, Kyonggi Province, south Korean Kangwon Province and other areas as of July 28.

Many farmlands and more than 1,370 dwelling houses were inundated and roads destroyed in the afflicted areas.
