It expressed deep concern about the fact that U.S. Department of Homeland Security included Kazakhstan in the list of sponsors of terrorism.

Asking what standards the U.S. is based on to work out the list, the Foreign Ministry said Kazakhstan has greatly contributed to forming effective organizations to battle international terrorism and ensuring world security.

It urged the U.S. to take immediate steps to save the situation.
