Pyongyang, July 30 (KCNA) -- The Workers' Party of Korea Publishing House brought out Vol. 96 of "Complete Collection of Kim Il Sung's Works". The book contains the reminiscences of President Kim Il Sung "With the Century" Vol. 2. It deals with the undying feats the President performed by founding the Juche idea, the great guiding idea in the era of independence, thereby indicating the path of the Korean revolution and building the revolutionary armed forces during the period from May of 1930 to February of 1933. The fourth chapter of the reminiscences "Seeking a New Path" deals with the fact that the President laid down the Juche-oriented line for the Korean revolution to follow through a profound inquiry and struggle, thus bringing about a turn in the sacred struggle for national liberation. The fifth chapter of the reminiscences "People in Arms" tells stories the President wisely led the preparations for armed struggle, closely knitting broad masses as a political force. The President put forth a policy on organizing and conducting the armed struggle with main emphasis on guerrilla warfare at the meeting of Party and Young Communist Meeting in Mingyuegou around the middle of December 1931. On April 25, 1932 he proclaimed the birth of the Anti-Japanese People's Guerrilla Army. Its sixth chapter "The Year of Trials" deals with the fact that the President conducted the expedition to south Manchuria to form the anti-Japanese joint front in the idea of achieving national unity. In the chapter he recollected with deep emotion that he overcame a rigorous ordeal with the sense of responsibility for the revolution on the heights of Luozigou during the march to Wangqing, leading 18 guerillas. |
