Pyongyang, August 1 (KCNA) -- Nine political parties and organizations of Mexico including the People's Socialist Party made public a joint statement on July 25 to mark the 14th anniversary of General Secretary Kim Jong Il's work "Let Us Carry Out the Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung's Instructions for National Reunification".

It is needed to continue stirring up the atmosphere of international support to the fair and aboveboard and realistic reunification proposals of the Workers' Party of Korea and the DPRK government on the occasion of August 4, the historic day when the work was published, the statement said.

The work is an immortal encyclopedia as it provides the basic guidelines for perfectly carrying forward and accomplishing the cause of national reunification started and wisely led by President Kim Il Sung who had conducted energetic activities for the reunification of the country, the supreme national desire of the Korean people, till the last moments of his life, it noted.

The three charters for national reunification formulated by Kim Jong Il are the basic cornerstone of the movement for national reunification and an immortal great reunification programme that comprehended the idea of "By our nation itself" and the idea of independent reunification, the statement stressed.

Bitterly denouncing the Lee Myung Bak group of south Korea for its hideous provocations, sycophancy and treachery, moves for confrontation with fellow countrymen and anti-reunification crimes, it said:

It called upon the political parties, governments and organizations of the world desirous of Korea's reunification to strongly condemn the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors for its anti-DPRK moves and continue powerfully supporting the Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean people in the struggle to achieve the national reunification under the three charters.
