Tehran, July 31 (KCNA) -- Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi at an interview with a news agency on July 28 re-clarified the government's stand to continue pushing forward its nuclear development for peaceful purposes.

Nuclear technology is the most essential for achieving the country's development, he said, adding neither pressure nor threat on the part of the West can stop Iran from its nuclear development. Iran will never give up its nuclear development for peaceful purposes, he declared.
