Pyongyang, August 1 (KCNA) -- "Pomhyanggi"-trademarked cosmetics made in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea have won a high reputation at domestic and foreign markets.

With Kaesong Koryo Insam (ginseng), known worldwide as good medicinal stuff and tonic, as principal raw material, the cosmetics include nutritive ingredients and natural active substances necessary for preventing skin ageing and promoting cell reproduction.

The principal materials is mixed with extracts from over 30 species of rare herbs growing in Mt. Myohyang and Mt. Rangnim, as well as functional substances obtained by bio-engineering technologies.

The cosmetics number 42 in shape and variety, typical of them being Kaesong Koryo Insam lotion, liquid cream, whitening lotion, whitening cream and transparent soap.

The products won high appreciation from SGS and were awarded ISO 9001.
