Moscow, July 31 (KCNA) -- Russian President Dmitri Medvedev recently called upon the country's schools to intensify education in history.

Addressing a meeting, he said it is urgent for schools to properly teach history.

Events of the Second World War should not be reviewed in an improper way in school textbooks, he added.
