Pyongyang, August 2 (KCNA) -- The authorities of Japan persistently seek to keep the overseas presence of troops of its "Self-Defense Forces" for a long time.

The Japanese government decided at a Cabinet meeting on July 29 to extend the "SDF" U.N. peacekeeping operations in the Golan Heights for another six months through March 31 next year.
