Beijing, August 1 (KCNA) -- A committee of China's State Council issued a notice calling for preventing large-scale accidents in all regions and sectors.

The notice expressed deep concern about large-scale accidents which occurred one after another in the country in July, and underscored the need for all regions to take effective measures to prevent accidents.
