Pyongyang, August 2 (KCNA) -- A friendship meeting with Russians took place at the Volleyball Gymnasium in Chongchun Street here on Tuesday to mark the 10th anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's historic visit to the Russian Federation and the adoption of the DPRK-Russia Moscow Declaration.

Present at the meeting were Mun Jae Chol, vice-chairman of the Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries and chairman of the DPRK-Russia Friendship Association, officials concerned, artistes of the National Folk Art Troupe and Ambassador Valery Sukhinin and staff members of the Russian embassy here and a delegation of the Russkiy Mir Foundation of Russia.

The participants enjoyed a performance by artistes of the National Folk Art Troupe.

They talked to each other about the need to further develop the friendship forged by the leaders of the two countries and played colorful sports and amusement games, deepening friendly feelings.
