Three Charters for National Reunification Hailed by Thai Organization

Pyongyang, August 3 (KCNA) -- The Organization for the Study of the Juche Idea of Thailand on July 28 issued a statement on the 14th anniversary of General Secretary Kim Jong Il's work "Let Us Carry Out the Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung's Instructions for National Reunification". In the work he formulated the three principles of national reunification, the 10-point programme of the great unity of the whole nation and the proposal for founding the Democratic Federal Republic of Koryo advanced by President Kim Il Sung as the three charters for national reunification. He also held that the cause of national reunification should be accomplished without fail on this basis in the future, the statement said. Kim Jong Il provided the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration, an embodiment of the three charters for national reunification, and the October 4 declaration, a programme for implementing it, the statement noted, adding: The June 15 joint declaration is a great programme for Korea's reunification as it indicates the basic principles for achieving the national reconciliation, unity and reunification and ways to do so. The three charters for national reunification, indeed, serve as an ever-lasting banner for putting an end to the division of Korea and reunifying the country, it stated. It extended full support and solidarity to the Korean people in their struggle to realize the desire of the nation for reunification under the banner of the June 15 joint declaration. |
