Pyongyang, August 3 (KCNA) -- Researchers of the Pyongyang Floriculture Research Center recently succeeded in putting a cultivation method of tulip of various colors and beautiful shape on a scientific basis.

The researchers solved technical problems concerning conditions of growth in winter and bulb storage, making it possible to propagate the flower in the country.

They have also adapted several dozen species of flowers, including cosmos and cockscomb, to the climatic conditions of Korea.

Meanwhile, they selected good varieties of ever-green roses and developed a cultivation technology and a propagation method.
