Beijing, August 2 (KCNA) -- The State Council of China recently made public regulations on official commendation for martyrs.

The regulations, consisting of 6 chapters and 41 articles, call for following the spirit displayed by the martyrs and improving the living conditions of the bereaved families.

They take effect on August 1, 2011.
