Moscow, August 2 (KCNA) -- Russia is working on preparations for the 2018 World Cup.

Some time ago, the country announced a plan to lay a high-speed railway line between Nizhuny Novgorod and Kazan.

The plan is part of the railway construction program for the World Cup.

The country already launched a project for increasing the speed of Nizhuny Novgorod-Moscow railway service, which started last year, from 160kph to 200kph.
