Pyongyang, August 4 (KCNA) -- Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez called on the people to face political challenges with the union of all social factors. He said this at roundtable talks on Saturday.

He referred to the preparation for elections scheduled for next year.

What is most important at present is to strengthen the unity of all revolutionary factors, enhance the government's efficiency and immediately solve the people's problems, he noted.
